Welcome to the official trainzandbridgez101 website! I'll try my best to keep the site updated with rail info, pictures, bulletins, and my latest YouTube videos.

The trainzandbridgez101 YouTube Channel was created on December 28th, 2008. When I created my account, I lacked a camera, so my channel was video-free for a little over a year. But, in September of 2009, I got my first camera and began posting videos. A few of my more recognized videos at the time were my "VIA Rail 95 at Winona Road" series, as well as my "Air Canada Boeing 747-200 Model Making" series. Both of these series were successful, and I was pleased with the number of views they had achieved. Then, in December of 2010, I had acquired my first camcorder. It was the Sony HDR-XR150 HD Handycam camcorder. I was very impressed with the quality of videos that it took. This is the camera that I am currently using for videos on my YouTube channel.

That's pretty much it for my YouTube channel. Now, a bit about me.

I was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, which is known for its' steel factories, especially in the downtown area. It is also known for housing the Niagara Escarpment, the Canadian Pacific and Canadian National Railway, and it is the location of the War of 1812. I can remember when I was about eight years old, I would go to a pedestrian bridge that overlooked Bayview Junction. This was in early 2008, and CN Rail had lots of foreign power going through at the time. I remember one day in particular; I went on a Saturday afternoon, and saw one freight with a Union Pacific SD60, and a separate train (most likely CN 148) with a CN SD60F, a BNSF Dash 9-44CW, and a Santa Fe Warbonnet Dash 9-44CW. To this day, I still frequently railfan Bayview Junction and the surrounding area.

Please explore the website, and leave me any comments on what you like about it, or how I can improve it. Thank you!
